Prowling Panther Slot Gameplay

When you open up Prowling Panther, you might think that you’re playing Siberian Storm (another IGT slot) in the jungle. In the game, your controls are on the bottom of the screen, where you can decide on your bet size, coin size and spin the reels. If you want to check the possible winning combinations, click on the button marked with a spanner.

You can set your bets from 0.01-50, with a maximum of 50 coins, by clicking the “+ -“ buttons. The reels are laid out on a 3-4-5-4-3 grid, with 720 ways to win with the right symbol matches using Multiways Xtra.

Paytable & Symbols

The Scatter is the Golden Panther, and the Wild is the Prowling Panther (black). And there’s the stacked 2x Wild Symbol, which multiplies your wins on two or more.

The highest paying symbol is the Black Panther, which pays 500 coins for five symbols on a payline. A toucan and parrot follow it, then card symbols that pay much less but appear frequently. Here’s how the symbols payout in the game, including the 2x Wild Symbol:

Free Spins Bonus Game

Landing two or more Double Wilds will trigger the Free Spins bonus game, where you can earn up to 96 free spins. During the feature, you can win more free spins if you land more bonus symbols across the reels and multiply your wins.

Big wins in the game are capped at $250 000 per payout, or 360 000 times your initial bet. Thanks to the stacked wilds, this is highly likely both in the bonus and base game.

Prowling Panther Slot Game: Final Rating

Overall, Prowling Panther is not an exciting real money slot machine, but that’s to be expected from IGT. But the 720 chances to win are worth a few spins if you’re looking for a straightforward game.

Of course, we can’t complain about the graphics, soundtrack, animations, or sound effects. Plus, the bonus symbols and game are nothing to sneeze at.

So, we’re awarding IGT’s Prowling Panther slot a four-star rating out of a possible five.
