Megasaur Slot Review

We have always been interested in dinosaurs, and Jurassic Park piqued the interest even more. It comes as no surprise that many casino game developers will use it as inspiration for some of the slot titles they produce. RTG is no exception, and they have developed the Megasaur as a result. This means that when you play on the reels of Megasaur, there will be different kinds of dinosaurs as symbols to make winning combinations.

RTG also developed the slot title to be compatible with mobile devices, which means that you get to enjoy the game from anywhere in the US. The Megasaur slot is also a progressive jackpot which means that there is a chance of winning a life-changing prize from just a single spin of the reels.

Find out about the other bonus features that you can find on the Megasaur reels when you read our slot review below. Once you know how to play the game, you can sign up at the RTG casinos that we have listed here on our site and play the game for real money.

How to Play Megasaur

Megasaur is five reels and 25 payline slot game. The symbols on the reels are a combination of the theme-related and card symbols. The theme-related symbols include the diplodocus, triceratops, a pterodactyl and the velociraptor. Out of all the theme-related symbols, the triceratops is the highest paying at 1000 coins. Land five of the symbols in payline and you get the reward.

The Megasaur has two wild symbols, which is the green and red Megasaurs. These two wild symbols appear on reels two and four, respectively. They will also replace all the symbols on the reels, excluding the scatter symbol. If you form a winning combination with the red wild, your winnings will be doubled. Another feature of the wilds is the stacked wild, and they can randomly fill the entire reel.

Free Spins and Progressive Jackpot

The volcano is the scatter symbol and appears on all the reels. If it lands on reels two, three, four and five it pays up to 300x in multipliers. What’s more, if you have three or more of the scatter symbols on the reels, the free spins round will be activated. Before the round can begin, you will have to pick a scatter symbol which will reveal the number of free spins for that round. You can be awarded up to ten free spins. During the free spins round, both the wild symbols can appear on the reels. When they do, they eat the dinosaurs on the reels replacing them with wilds.

The progressive jackpot can be triggered in the free spins round. There are three progressive jackpots that you can win. If you land three of the scatter symbols you win the minor progressive jackpot; four wins you the major jackpot and five wins you the mega jackpot. The minimum prize for the mega jackpot is a million.
