Penguin Power Slot Review

The summer months might be making some people feel the heat, but luckily there are lots of cool games available that might help take some of the pressure off. Penguin Power is a game that, as you might expect, is based on a bit of a winter wonderland theme.

There are igloos, penguins, fish, seals and all sorts of other symbols in this game that you might expect in a slot based on this type of concept. While the theme itself isn’t all that exciting when compared to big-branded slots based on television shows or movies that are popular, Penguin Power has it where it counts, and that’s in the gameplay department.

How to Play Penguin Power Slot

This game has a pretty standard layout that works as a good canvas for developing an excellent video slot. You’ll be dealing with a five-reel layout that uses 20 paylines. The coins are set from $0.01 to $5.00 each, and you can only bet up to one coin on each of the 20 paylines. This makes it easy to know what you’re betting at any time since you don’t have to work with combinations of different coin sizes and different numbers of coins on top of keeping up with which paylines you have activated on each spin.

Slot Features and Symbols

The cute baby penguin symbol is the star of the show as the wild symbol. This is one of those games where the wild really drives the action without having any specific winning combinations for it since it only shows up on the second, third and fourth reels. To make up for this, it gives you a 2x multiplier for every winning combination that you make using it. If you get five of the regular penguin symbol on an activated payline, you’ll pick up a cool 2,500x jackpot payout that doubles to 5,000x if it includes a baby penguin wild multiplier as well.

The igloo symbols are scattered in this game, and they’ll help you to get some pretty cool payouts without having to show up all on the same payline. Whenever you pick up at least three of them on the reels, however, you’ll be given a set of free spins. How many you get will be randomly chosen between five and 25. To help to give you some extra value during the free turns, you’ll have extra igloo symbols and additional baby penguin wild multipliers added to the reels.
